Loan Bank

A technology loan program that is responsive to your student’s needs.

Overview

SET-BC loans technology to school-based teams in BC school districts based on classroom or student needs identified during our Collaborative Action Plan (CAP) process. We also provide short-term loans of complex technologies for trial and assessment purposes.

SET-BC provides support and service for loaned technology for up to three years and the loans can be anywhere from a month to a school calendar year depending on each situation. Technology on loan from SET-BC is fully managed and supported throughout the service period by the SET-BC technical support staff. This includes repairs and replacements as necessary due to defects or normal ‘wear and tear’ in the school environment. Visit our SETdesk Support Page for more information.
